As a therapist, Raman worked with moms, young women, couples, parents and families on a variety of issues. Raman assisted moms in dealing with work–life balance issues, as they transitioned back to work. Many moms were trying to balance the increased stress of learning a new job while juggling their family schedules, and maintaining a peaceful home. She also assisted young adults and couples in dealing with the stress in relationships as well as career changes. Prior to training as a therapist, Raman has worked in the health care industry, with families struggling with the challenge of meeting their elderly parents’ needs. She assisted families to transition the move of the elderly from their own homes to assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Raman is a graduate of the foundations program of Mentorcoach. She is on track to training towards certification with Mentorcoach, which is an accredited program by the International Coach Federation. As a mother of a toddler, Raman recognizes the importance of being there for her child while balancing the responsibilities of family and work. She enjoys gardening, reading and being a parent. |
